OUR MISSION

Our Mission is to serve children and families by providing the adequate tools for effective meaningful change against challenges plaguing our community while positively impacting the well-being of families and our communities.

Each year, BSCPP’s corresponding three workgroups are charged with accomplishing goals and ojectives aimed at improving the way child welfare services are delivered in the community.

Family Team Conferencing Group (FTC) Goals

• Provide support and assistance to biological families at the Family Team Conferences (FTC’s) at ACS and other community locations
• Community Representatives of the FTC provides resources to support the children and families of the Bedford Stuyvesant community at various conferences.

• Assist foster care agencies with increasing family visits and accelerate the reunification of biological families
• Be present with the families during their schedule visits which take place in various family-oriented setting in the community.
